RESIDENT SERVICES PROGRAM
OUR RESIDENT SERVICE COORDINATORS PROVIDE RESIDENTS WITH INVALUABLE ON-SITE RESOURCES, GUIDANCE, AND SUPPORT.
Resident Service Coordinators (RSCs) are a valuable resource and important members of the management team. RSCs link residents to existing services and resources in the community and help them to build an informal support network among themselves. We encourage residents to be proactive in meeting their social, psychological, and physical needs. We provide conflict resolution assistance as appropriate and seek out assistance with existing community resources when needed. RSCs increase the ability of residents to uphold their lease obligations such as paying rent on time, taking proper care of their units, and ensuring quiet enjoyment of the property for all residents and surrounding neighbours.

Our goal is to ensure a resident is successful by maintaining their independence and improving the quality of life. Through our service program, residents learn how to navigate and utilize existing community resources. They are given assistance in building an informal support network with other residents. We help them to be proactive in meeting their social, psychological, and physical needs. They are taught the skills that they need to maintain their housing, such as financial planning, taking proper care of their unit, and lease education.
The Resident Services Program has formed partnerships with a multitude of organizations to bring art, nutrition, and wellness programming right to our residents in their own community. These partnerships include the Evanston Art Center, The Arts of Life, Adaptive Adventures, Maine-Niles Association of Special Recreation, Nurture, North Shore Country Day School, and Active Living. Our partners are providing residents with opportunities that are contributing to maintaining their housing, health, and well being.
