Warm Up for the Rainbow Challenge Tour by riding in Bike The Drive on Sunday, May 27, 2012!
Warm up for the Rainbow Challenge Tour by riding for our team in MB Financial Bank’s Bike The Drive, Sunday, May 27, 2012. If you have questions, please contact our team captain, Matt Soden at msoden@otrassn.org, ASAP but no later than May 24 (Deadline to register for our team).
· To REGISTER, go to www.bikethedrive.org/charityjoin and select Over The Rainbow Association from the Team Name dropdown then enter the password OTR2012.
· Cost per rider: $35 for adults; $10 for children 17 years or younger (details to follow shortly on where and how to pay)
· Bike The Drive t-shirts are included and will be distributed by the team captain on the morning of the ride, along with the ride packet.
· Fundraising: Optional. If you choose to fundraise, you may direct donors to our website. Otherwise, our goal is simply to raise awareness for OTR and its mission, and to recruit riders (who will fundraise) for the Rainbow Challenge Tour on September 23, 2012.
· RCT Jersey? We ask that if you have a Rainbow Challenge Tour jersey that you wear it for Bike The Drive. We do have a few remaining from last year but they will be distributed on a first come first served basis only.
· Schedule: 5:00 a.m. meet at tents; 5:30 a.m. ride begins; 9:00 a.m. ride ends and post-ride festival begins; Noon: festival ends.
· As the event nears, our team captain will email everyone with more details.

Over The Rainbow Association will hold its fifth annual Rainbow Challenge Tour on Sunday, September 23, 2012. This year our two outstanding chairs are: Mark Tennison, Executive Vice President - Development, Equity Residential, and Gene Weil, Chief Executive Officer - Investment Banking, Restructuring Services, Milestone Capital. The event is part of the Evanston Bicycle Club's North Shore Century ride. Riders may choose from a 25, 50, 62, 70, or 100 mile course.
In addition to the ride, OTR and its residents host a post-ride BBQ at Evanston Ecology Center from 11:30–4:30 p.m. for the riders, their families and friends, and all sponsors. Tours of our newly-rehabilitated apartments are also given.

On Sunday, December 4, 2011, Over The Rainbow and world-renowned opera singer, Nancy Gustafson, will host another foot-tapping, heart-stopping CELEBRATION musical extravaganza. In addition to Nancy, the concert will showcase two-time Grammy winner Sylvia McNair and world-renowned Richard Leech, Paul LaRosa, Dominic Armstrong and Jonathan Beyer, all of whom have thrilled past audience members from across the United States with beautiful contemporary, classical and holiday music. Accompanying these exceptional vocalists will be world-acclaimed pianists Kristin Okerlund and Ted Taylor.
