Over The Rainbow Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable, accessible housing and employment opportunities for adults with physical disabilities. Our mission is to enable adults with disabilities to lead an independent life.
On Sunday, December 12, 2010, Over The Rainbow and world-renowned opera singer, Nancy Gustafson, will host our 21st annual foot-tapping, heart-stopping CELEBRATION benefit concert to raise money to support our mission. In addition to Nancy, the concert will showcase a bevy of world-renowned singers, including Sylvia McNair, Richard Leech, and Michael DeVries from Wicked. Over our twenty year history, these performers have regaled audience members from across the United States year over year with beautiful contemporary, classical, and holiday music.
This coming holiday season, join us in our CELEBRATION and give the gift of independence.

Over The Rainbow Association is holding its third annual Rainbow Challenge Tour on Sunday, September 12, 2010. This year we have two outstanding chairs: Betsy Robinson, Founder and President of NiCox Research Institute S.r.l., Milano, Italy; and Nicholas Anaclerio, Senior Partner, Ungaretti & Harris, LLP, Chicago, Illinois. The event is part of the Evanston Bicycle Club's North Shore Century ride. Riders may choose from a 25, 50, 62, 70, or 100 mile course. See the below flyer if you are interested in riding for OTR!
In addition to the ride, OTR and its residents will be hosting a post-ride Texas style BBQ (Brisket, Ribs, Corn on the Cob, and more!) at Hill Arboretum Apartments from 11:30–2:30 p.m. for the riders, their families and friends, and all sponsors. Tours of our newly-rehabilitated apartments will also be given.
Please consider joining us! Again, you only need to contact our office at 847.424.5604 to register and/or RSVP for the BBQ.

On July 26, 2008, Over The Rainbow supporters enjoyed an intimate evening, dancing to the strains of jazz, swing, and rock as the moon glided across the lake at the historic Winnetka home of Sherry and Randy Abrahams.
In addition to music from the Derrick Stout Orchestra, supporters had a buffet dinner from Heller Catering and participated in both a live and silent auction. Items included a variety of sports tickets, sign sports memorabilia, along with vacations in the Cayman Islands and St. Thomas.
The party continued through the wee hours of the night.
